    WOW!
It is so good to see so many Maverick fans and owners out there! Thanks for the welcome from all of you.
The '72 I got for the boy came with some extra body parts...a hood, a fender, trunk lid, and some others. Any one needs such as that let me know. There are some things that I'm gonna need as we go along.
Thanks to those who helped with the advice about the harmonic balancer removal--got eveything off and waiting on parts.

Now that you got the balancer off, do you have the installation tool? if not, Most of the autozone or checkers (now O'reilly's) offer the use of the tool. Leave a deposit but you get it back.:)

Thanks for the advice on the install tool. I ordered my parts at O'Reilly's so I will probably rent the thing while I'm in there picking them up.

Got a question for you----That engine has a little bit of a rumble to it--Could the balancer be bad? Hate to put a bad part back on but don't know how to check it.

    Thanks for all your help.
