Well here are pics of where I am at on this 77 engine swap project. The good is the good engine that I am just about done degreasing before paint. The bad is the engine, with trans that came out of the car, the trans is good though, notice how I custom tweaked the trans dipstick tube. The ugly pic is of my battery tray area. Then a shot of the grimy engine bay. Not going nuts on this car as it is just a driver and sits outside, Just want it to look better and be dependable. Dan
Nothin' a little degreaser and pressure washing can't fix. Except the battery tray. I can't believe how rusty the block on the original engine is. Looks like it was never painted from the factory?
Yes, but you live in the south, my family in Florida is always amazed at how rusty our stuff gets, with the salt and snow and rain.
Engine looks familiar. Always nice to have a car "not so nice" so one can lay their tools right on the fender!! Ha, Ha.
Yeah Craig,, I dont usually ever put tools on a fender,, but I am going to paint the car. It is a weird feeling to set something on a fender without a fender cover on it. Dan
