Hey just want to say hi folks.. I finally got myself a maverick / comet I have wanted a 2 door unit for about 20 years and I finally found a '74 maverick 2 door with all original number matching 302 and everything. needs a motor rebuild and possibly a trans but the body and under side of this car is amazing. I got on to this website by general search on google and when I came here I noticed the website has the same look and feel as fordtrucks.com I am on there as 65f100CoryE. I found that site to be amazing for information and help and i am sure this one will be no different. loking forward to the rebuild and I may have questions and inquiries over the next few months.

My 71 comet gt hey how are all of you im a proud man that we got all these mav and comet people .i just wanted to say wassup n i love my 71 comet gt. it is one pissed off car it runs roughly 420hp on race fuel or 93 octane . i run it on nuttin but race fuel at $6.25 a gallon . i barely drive my car i just take good care of it . its a 306ci blueprinted balanced, msd , hooker , edelbrock, kind of toy, 5 angle valve job big 1.90 intake , and 1.60 exhaust valves along with being necked. 4.62 gears wit a c4 auto/ rev manual valve body wit a slap shift. thers too many things to say about this beautiful car i will post pics soon. thank you and god bless , keep it on all fours
