Jeff; thanks for the pic! The page I got was 217.06. I like yours better!!:)

Got to go to the carwash and clean the back of the engine today, so I can track down that damn oil leak! Hope it is something simple, like the intake. And, it is a bit chilly today!!!!:hmmm:

    Later,

    Earl

hey earl, are those stock 86 pistons without the flycuts? my engine is an 86 h.o. with the stock pistons and 86 heads, and an e 303. I was told if i changed heads the pistons would kiss the valves, for lack of flycuts. I wonder if i could get away with e 7 heads on my ride?

Doubtful. Most people running 86 flat tops wont clear with a stock cam and E7s much less the E303. Fix it for good with a set of Twisted Wedge heads. Should clear easily, even with the cam if you run those heads. :D

Well, my cam is a B303, and '90 E7 heads, and it runs fine....no interference.

    Nice work Earl.
Seems like you could fatten it up just a touch at WOT.
Great flat torque curve. Bet it drives nice!
On the vibration, how's the driveshaft?

Well there's your problem. I wouldn't be surprised if you gained quite a bit of power - once you put all the parts on. :tiphat:

Earl's Mav didn't vibrate on the Dyno. The only thing that was not turning were the front wheels

Seems like the vibration is in the front end somewhere. Frank and I put on a set of RotorPros rotors a few years back, and he had problems with the bearing race in one of his. I'm going to check mine out this weekend, when it warms up a touch. As for fattening up the top end, I think I'll do that when I get it to a track and see how it runs on the wheels. Dyno guy (Scott) said I could go up two or four jet sizes (secondaries) , and might get a little bit out of that. Be interesting to see. Thanks,

BTW, I think the driveshaft is ok, since it didn't vibrate on the dyno. But if it keeps up, I'll have it checked!
