How much does a stock Iron head 302/5.0 weigh?

I'm thinking something in the 1988 to 1993 range.

This is engine only, preferably complete with accessories but if you've got shortblock or stripped weights that's be fine as well.

    answered my own question

    Ford 302/5.0:

Weight - 460 to 500 lbs (slightly less for newer EFI)
Width - 20" from outside of valve covers
Length - 27" to 29" (rear of block to outside of waterpump pully)
    Height - 22" to 27" depending on oilpan/ intake / etc

    Mopar 318/360:

Weight - 500 to 525lbs (slightly less for newer Magnums and EFI)
Width - 20.5" from outside of valve covers
length - 22" (block only) add about 5" or so for most water pumps
    Height - 22" to 29" depending on oilpan/ intake / etc

biggest difference is weight - even at worst it's less than a hundred pounds. That kind of weight can be easily dealt with though aftermarket components.

    hmmmm...
