C4 + b&m star shifter

    i have my instructions i've read them though and though, and i have not installed this in my car yet. I'm just saying that when i put it in ratchet mode, it moves the shift indicator below 1st gear. yet all the other gears line up with the indicator when I'm not in Ratchet mode, even 1st is where it is supposed to be until i put it in ratchet mode.

    ok i think i have it figured out, the shifter has two park positions for some reason. does anyone know why?

    MY z-gate shifter has 2 park positions
    one is for a C4 the other is for some GM tranny. It's explained in the small print
