they fit in my 71 without any problems. i don't have power steering or any other accessories though. also i am using the small bellhousing. you will probably have to lift the engine a few inches to clear. :)

Yes they fit my `72 really well and were the easiest header install
I`ve ever done , (no I did not install the engine with the headers still bolted to it lol )

I just installed Hooker 6901's ... fit perfect ... even has room for original clutch linkage ....

As per the included instructions jack the car up as high as you can and then jack the engine up a few inches and they slide right in.

i just put mine back on this afternoon. had the car on jackstands and lifted the engine a few inches. if you have the valve covers off it's a lot easier to get the drivers side rear bolts in.:D

    Yes it will fit.

If you have the power steering, you need the drop down bracket.
I think it is around $20 or so from Summit or Jegs.
The 6901's are a breeze. Mine went in without unbolting the engine
and jacking it around. I had the starter off and it slid in like a hot knife
through butter. Just make sure that you have the entire car safely up
off the ground so that you can go in from the bottom with the headers
    sitting upright.
I did need to indent a passenger side tube to allow clearance of the idler
arm. Not much, just a tad.

    Seth-
I have 6901's but didn't need to dent the passenger side tube for idler arm clearance. I do however have the problem of the pitman arm hitting a tube on the drivers side.
I haven't heard of anyone else having either of these problems.
    Weird.

i also bought a set of summit brand headders and they came nowhere near fitting my 71 grabber. called summit to make sure they sent the right ones and they said they did. i tried everything to get them to fit, no go. they sit right on top of the steering box.they told me to dent the tubes in for clearance. i mashed one almost flat. still no fit. sent them back and bought a set of hedman and they fit like a glove...good luck

Nick those headers don't even pretend to fit. return 'em.
I have a set brand new out in my garage still. I learned the lesson on those. got stuck with two sets of Summit headers. Managed to get $20.00 for one set (more than they are worth if you ask me). I'll use the other set as donor parts when I do my upcoming 302 swap into my '77 Toyota Corolla.
