Dose anyone have a 3inch true dual exhaust on a converted i6 to 302 maverick? was wondering if it is possible. I am taking my car to get an exhaust on tomorrow and want to know if it can be done. Also was wondering if there are drop spindels for our cars. Will the mustang 2 drop spindels work? thank you.

I believe Maverick Man has 3 inch exhaust on his. http://www.maverickman.com/WhiMav.html

Mustang II has a totally different design suspension. This was discussed recently in another post.

Have you changed over the tranny crossmember to a V8 unit? ... (two humps instead of one)

Three inch tailpipes might be tough ... probably easier with a Mustang gas tank swap.

3" is too big for most 302s. 2.5 is too big for most 302s. 2.25 exhast will give you the best performance if you makeing under 250 hp. if you want the look of 3" then just get 3" exhast tip or pipe on the last section of the exhast.

I agree with 2.5"-3" being too big.
