Can anyone tell me the distance between the 6901 Hooker Hedder flanges when installed on a 302?

I want to install a muffler system like Maverick Man did, only I want to use 2 1/2" pipe, including an x-pipe.

Heddman makes a nice looking x-pipe system, but the flange ends look too close together to fit. I have a call into Heddman for their dimension, but I don't have my Hookers installed yet, so I have to ask.

I'm trying to plan ahead and buy parts that will work.

Anybody try this yet? Got a better idea for an x-pipe system?

I got the 6901's along with the DR Gas X pipe. His is a uniiversal kit, in that it can compensate for just about any width between the collector flanges and also between the mufflers.

Thanks Mavaholic! Looks like Dr Gas has a flexible system that I can match up to my system. Kinda pricey, but it's what I was asking for. A good first project for my new welder.

    Anybody got a better/different suggestion?
