I have a fuel tank from autokrafters and as far as i know all the appropriate hardware. The Fuel tank inlet goes throught the trunk through a rubber insdie the trunk and into the tank. The tube and the tank have a gap between them and i do not know why. If I fill her up most of the way and drive fuel spills out (go figure). What am i missing? Thank you for your help.

There is a rubber grommett the fits in the tank opening...The filler tube slides into the grommett and seals so fuel wont leak.AK should have the grommett.
