This is my strange story of how I came to the Mav Madness. I moved into a room for rent in my buddy's parent's house back in march. They've had this old 76 Maverick that is pretty junky looking due to some unfortunate incidents in the past but which intrigued me none the less. The story behind it is that it originally belonged to my buddy's Grandmother who gave it to my buddy's father. This thing has 20k original miles on it with the original owner's manual and the original family. It didnt run very well so I started poking around it and probing into the maintenance history. Suffice to say that it hasn't been given the best TLC in a long time. I took it upon myself to try to get this car going better since then with their financial support and my labor since they won't sell it to me. This summer I'm focusing on the braking and cooling system. Hope this is as much fun as I'm anticipating it will be.
