    Hello all,

My current bench is in great shape, that's why I've kept it. And I also love the pressed vinyl accents down the centers of the bench. But I was wondering if buckets would be worth it. Do you guys think its possible to transfer the center vinyl pieces from my bench onto a set of buckets? Does anyone that does fabric/interior work think its reasonably doable?

Is there a specific year/model of bucket donors that would be better than others?

    Heres my current bench:

    What do you think? Thanks!

i had the exact same interior and i really liked the design cause it wasnt very common but i ended up just getting rid of the bench and now i have the LDO seats. and i definatly dont regret it, bucket seats is a huge improvement! (y)

i have the exact same interior. i'm going to see if i can get the middle design put on some new buckets. it's a very unique impression.

in '73, that pattern was the "base model" interior. my '73 4dr had it in black, and my '73 Grabber parts car has it in blue (both are bench seat cars).

btw, did someone put that interior in your car? all GT's came with bucket seat interior

If you get a set of low back buckets, you could probably have an upholstery shop cut the center out of the bench and use it on the buckets. I have a set of 2 dr LDO buckets that would work. Are you still on the Eastern Shore?

My GT wasnt born a GT... it had a midlife crisis... around 1998.
