I like the wheels but then again it would be hard to make you Maverick look bad!

Not a fan of the wheels, Our cars look better with a classic wheel and a deep wheel lip, I never liked the ones that don't have an inset... My 2 cent's

Its too brittle of a paint scratches with soft towels and doesnt hold up well to the outside weather and it cannot be top coated to protect it or even waxed.I just dont want someone to do it and not be happy that it didnt hold up a couple weeks outside,Ive been experimenting with a few differant paints on various substrates along with how there applied.I will let you know if i Find something that will hold up or pm me and ill let you know what i used and how it is applied if you want to try it on your own.

i'm not a big fan of the wheels, either.
i don't know why, but from my european point of view, these cars should keep the "classic" look with a deep wheel lip and lots of rubber on them. white letter tires should look cool, too.

but when it comes to the "restomod" look with later style wheels, like these 90ies mustang ones or even 17" wheels, i just can't get used to them. this style is just not very popular in europe, where everyone likes to get the muscle car look with classic wheels and beefy tires.

as for silver paints, good luck. i originally was going to re paint the silver on my rims. i worked in a military spec paint company and could not find anything on the shelf or at the plant that looked like a good silver chrome and held up well. even most of the ones that are out there for replacing the stock silver look were easily scuffed up or didn't look right. i gave up and went solid black.

I vote for daisy mags or slot mags...or a set of black slot mags (bearcat's wheels)

I didnt want this to start into a wheel debate, just was looking for some input on what I already had. They are something to get by for a while while I save to buy 2 tires.

Joe, being on a budget is not a bad thing, Your car looks so good most anything you do will look great. I didn't mean to say it looked bad I just think mavericks look funny without a wheel lip at least on the back. I never liked that wheel even on the mustang.. (so i take it back the car looks Awesome).... :)
