Does anyone know what to torque them to I just got some and they for some reason didn't come with instructions that list torque specs. also got many other goodies but won't be able to put them on until this winter.
Goodies list: Moog Upper Ball Joints,Partsmaster Lower Control Arms and Ball Joints, Brake Best Rear Brake Cylinders, Brake Best Rear Brake Shoes, And Monroe Gas Charged Rear Shocks. This is most of the Car Parts I will be getting for Christmas the only reason I know this is because my dad asked me where the best places to get them would be.

If there is a torque setting for those bolts, I didn't know it when I installed mine. I just torqued mine until they were good and tight, which boils down to about as tight as I could possibly get them with a 1/2 inch drive Craftsman socket wrench. The shop that did the front end alignment on the car shortly after loosened them back up anyways to properly adjust camber, so I guess it didn't matter much.

Reason I ask is because there is a baggie with some hardware and stuff and it say that the included instructions state specific torque specs and the upper ones have specific ones on the instructions included.

Same here. I just applied He-Man strength to mine using a massive wrench.

75-100 ft lbs on the lower control arm...ball joint stud gets 60-90 ft lbs.

if a TQ.wrench has to be calibrated to make sure it is reading correctly...
then why do they give you a...
TQ. spec. that has a 25% error margin?...75-100 ft. lbs.
    or...30%... 60-90 ft. lbs.
why would it not be...80 ft. or 75 ft. lbs. an exact # for a calibrated wrench. :hmmm:
some people have told me...they pick a # from the 75-100 that they feel comfortable with...you could do this with any hand wrench...
some thighten bolts with...open hand or 2 fingers or use 1/4" drive sockets... as not to strip the threads...

    ......

Good question... I was told years ago if the bolt/nut is brand new the toque it down to the high end of the scale, say 95 foot pounds instead of 100...if using used fasteners then stay at the low end of the scale.

My wife had a 96 Monte Carlo and I did the brakes on it. The manual called for the caliper bolts to be in at 150 foot lbs! ... and I don't have air tools (yet).

1/2 inch breaker bar with a 4 foot extension ... I was doing pullups on the bar to break them loose ... git'r'done ...:thumbs2:

I have a 2-door '71 Maverick with a 4.1L, 250ci, I6 with A/C. There are two different sizes of lower control arm bushings offered for my year from moog. Does anyone know which size is the one I need for my car? The choices are 1-9/16" and 1-7/16." any help you could offer would be great. thnx.

The low end is the minimum required to begin to stretch a fastener of a given size, the high end is the not-to-exceed value to keep from over-stretching the fastener. Different size/composition fasteners have different ranges.
