That is a good Idea. I still to this day regret getting rid of my Dad's maverick and he was the one that talked me into selling it.

It was a realy rust bucket. He spilled feertilizer in the trunk and didn't clean it out, like these poor cars didn't have enough rust issues, the floors and the frame railes were in great shape but the rear quaters and trunk drop offs and the typical holes in the front fenders behind the front wheels.

The rear quarters were rotted off up past the marker lights and I used flat sheet metal and hand dollies and body hammers to form the metal and put it all back, it was almost ready for paint and Dad got itchy feet about giving me a V8 Maverick for my first car, was skeered I would hurt myself in it and told me if I sold it I could keep the $$$ from the Maverick sale AND have his VW bug. Money + another car = I sold his Grabber and regretted it ever since. The VW was an AWESOME car and I have many good memories of it, but I have a lot more good memories of the V8 Grabber I bought after I got rid of that Bug.
