I agree with the above and will add these suggestions to check also.

The fast blinking could be something as simple as a heavy duty flasher also. If you have an extra flasher, swap it out and see if the lights slow down.

I would also check the bulbs in the dash cluster to see if they're blown.

While the cluster is out to check the bulbs, check the harness connections for corrosion. The connections can be cleaned with a pencil eraser.

    Hope this helps,
    -Scott H.

Forgot about the cluster bulbs.:) I had more blown than working. Replaced all with extended life 194's and fixed the connector to the cluster. Had 2 or 3 contacts that were flattened.

Im working on the same issues, but seems that a bad ground on mine caused a slow blinking

Are all of the bulbs in the cluster 194's? And how many are there, I have a few dead myself.

My blinkers only work if the brakes are NOT engaged, how handy. If I'm at a light then the blinker light on the dash just stays lit, when I pull away the light blinks v e r y slowly or just goes out. They don't work when I'm stopped, good thing I no longer have to get it inspected.

Might check that the sockets are seated well in the light bucket. I left mine sitting in the trunk just to check and make sure that it worked correctly and mine wouldn't blink, put it in the housing like it should and it blinks now.

Sounds like it is low on blinker fluid to me. Very common problem.
