This was an awesome show and is amazing what they are doing. They even put thought and time into making their own trophies. The Comet received a top 20 award. :yahoo: Thanks Car Dudes!
The ministry team has come to be known throughout our community as "The Car Dudes". The ministry has been first and foremost to show God's love by helping those who cannot afford to help themselves with their car repairs. This ministry has grown tremendously in the last year, not only with the people we are helping, but with "The Car Dudes" team as well.

That's one NICE Comet! One heck of a reason to hold a car show.
Way to go guys! Wish I was closer.

    Clint,

How close to Raleigh are you? Check out www.Wheels4Hope.org. This ministry accepts car donations, does repairs to where no big repairs are expected for a couple of years, and sells them for $500 to people who are referred by social service organizations around Raleigh. Parts costs probably average round $700-800 each. We're need volunteer mechanics.

Volunteers' rides include a chopped '50 Merc, Ranchero, an old Chevy of some kind,:D and my project Maverick. W4H has a restored '68 Beetle that's used to spread the word at car shows.

Looks like a great organization, not sure how far it is, this is in the Atlanta Metro area so I don't think it is very close but great to see what you are doing.

Amazing looking Comet. And its amazing how people can put Jesus Christ into these kind of things. I hope this ministry does very well in the years to come. Wish we had something like that up here!
