just got a used Mallory from a friend of mine was in working order and looks new. Is it as simple and drop in and go or do I need the Mallory ignition module, or do I cut and splice the wires. Any help would be great!

First determine if the dist you have is plug and play (stand alone unit) or if it needs a box to operate, then hook it up accordingly.
You can go to malloryperformance.com and copy instructions for your app.

how do you tell, It looks a lot like a factory dist , but the wires will not connect to the factory harness
