    Heres some updated info and pics I finally got to install my 5.0 HO this last june runs awesome! 19 mpg. I did reopen my shop in jan 2009 doing good. hopefully get it painted this spring Charcoal grey like 2004 mustang mach 1. As far as strut tower brace Its Kusstum made it should clear a stock hood the intake plenium sits below the stock hood skin it does not rise into the scoop.

    i like your strut tower brace. would it clear a stock or grabber hood?

    cool. My maverick is getting about 19.5 mpg with the 302. Makes me wonder how these engines can get that good of mpg.

    They(302s') get good mileage since they arent working hard pushing a Maverick around.
