my maverick ranned out on me yesterday smoke coming from my engine leaking oil from the heads cylinders what yah think it is!!? cranks up but loud noise comes from the engine.
Hard to say without looking at it but it sounds like it might have dropped a valve and then it put a hole in the piston
punched hole in piston most likely. been there, done that. Sure sounds like it's time for a new motor to me too. But look on the bright side, once you have your new motor in you will be a much happier maverick owner.
