    No.. not bling type !!!!

Question..I like those early 1999 ford lightning wheels. I thought that would look good on a mav. I wonder if they would fit, if I did the nice lip cut on the fenders like other mavs here on the board. Those rims are 18". Would the tires have that "rubber band" dub-look? Maybe someone here could photoshop me a pic if they had time...( I don''t have or know how to use it! LOL!)

Anyhoo, just wanted to get some opinions

they have the wrong bolt spacing. they wont just bolt on. i guess that you could use adaptors. they are aluminum rings that bolt onto your bolt patern and then have a new set of studs matching the bolt patern of the wheel. they usually are 1" thick. i dont know the width of the wheels your thinking off but i would not be suprised if they were 10"s wide. i really doubt that you would get full turning radias in the front with that big of a wheel.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
Bryant is correct they won't just bolt on.

as far as rubber band look... (btw... its not a "dub look" low profile tires were out more then two decades ago. the word ""dub" has only been around for no more then ten years.)

no need to photoshop.... nothing wrong with 18's ;)
