5 comets discovered for parts in Arkansas. I was junkyarding about a year ago here in Little Rock and posted some pics of what I stumbled across. These are at D&D Salvage in Jacksonville, AR. I seem to recall a nice comet gas cap on one of them, and don't remember a lot about the interior, but he's probably got a total 7 cars on the yard with about 5 of them being comets. I'm more than happy to go scouting for any of you guys for parts. There's some free time here around the holidays and it was on my agenda anyway. The old coot can be kind of a jerk depending on if he's taken his medication that day or not. One day he'll let you walk around the yard on your own and the next he wants to follow you around like you're going to stick a part in your pocket. He's also pretty aware of value but might make it worthwhile for all concerned if there was a big shopping spree.
id snag the small bumper, brackets, hood lips moldings, fenderwell trim, hood emblems, and that good grille if it was me. not to mention the gas cap and anything else of interest
Small bumper and brackets with filler, gas caps, grilles, valances, small rear bumper, good hoods and decklids, quarter extensions, disc brake set ups, bucket seat tracks...floor shifters...boomerangs and any good glass...the vent control panel and switches, floor shifter columns...
