I do not have any pics but here`s what I did. I used the pedals assembly from the fox body.I removed the cross shaft, then used the maverick clutch pedal.then I reused the fox body brake pedal after modifying it.after that I used a aftermarket quadrant and the fire wall threaded adjuster.I also put a plate around the hole at the firewall to stiffen up that part.
To modify the brake pedal I cut the fox body pedal and maverick pedal in two pieces.the fox pedal is shorter,so using a longer part of the maverick pedal and by adding the 2 parts together to make the length the same as the clutch pedal.I chauffeured the ends of the parts and welded them up.After several careful beads on both sides,I ground the parts smooth.now they appear as original.
Very simple, just some careful measurements and some nice paint.Make your clutch adjustment at the firewall and have fun.

Hello I have used many of these manifolds before.I prefer the torker 289 over the torker 302.Both would need work under the carb at the entrance. The victor is very good for most things but I will have to agree with the fellow about the air gap manifold.Just clean up under the carb and add a 4 hole tapered spacer.

Good idea, if you plan on doing a high spinning 347 later on. Then the Vic Jr might be a better choice, but I think you will enjoy that torker better on your current build.

    .

ive ran all three intakes, torker289, victor jr., and the rpm airgap.
love the torker pulls all the way to 7200 rpms for me.,i lost 2 tenths with the victor jr., the air gap gave a seat in the pants better low end feel than either. it depends solely on your build. and what your looking for.
i would personnaly keep both intakes..
the vic didnt work well cause im sure my heads were not compatabile with it. but its your choice. good luck with it.:thumbs2:

The Maverick I just bought currently has the 351w Super Victor Jr., but the car also came with the 351w Victor Jr.
The Victor's are pretty much to be used with modified heads and will suffer if not. They are also a mid to top end manifold. Although the Maverick has not been on the strip since I bought it, I was told that in the current configuration on a perfect 1/4 run it would hit the rev limiter at the lights............7200rpm, and the car pulls hard from mid track through the traps.
The 302 Victor is a little different, but remember this is listed as a "race only intake".
Personally, I'd keep both intakes and start out using the Torker, then if you progress to aftermarket heads with a little higher/larger ports use the Victor.
The Victor has extra material in the runners that will allow you to port match with your heads.

    IMHO

I have seen this before.just block it off. That intake works better than most people believe. All you need to do is some grinding from the carb mount down to the intake roof. You will remove alot of material, just funnel each runner up to the edge of the carb base and a spacer under the carb or nos plate will help even more.
