    Hello all,
I am an upholstery tech redoing some seats for an acquaintance. He said they were from a 71 Maverick Grabber, but it looks like it's from a 76 Maverick. Either way, does anyone know where I could purchase some seat foam for a 76 maverick front bucket seat? The foam on one of the seats was good enough I could reuse it, but the other is pretty torn up. I've searched JC Whitney, ebay, and google but I can't seem to locate it. Also, does anyone know if maybe there is some seat foam for a different car that's similar enough to use?

    Thanks!!

Are you looking for specific seat foam shape, or just a block of foam that you could shape?

I'm looking for the specific seat foam shape. I tried attaching some foam in the voids in the original foam and then shaping it (if that makes sense), but I couldn't get it to come out smooth enough to look alright.

Thanks, rthomas. I checked there and they don't have it either. They have the foam for a 71-73 maverick, but it doesn't look very close to the one I have.

    Makes sense to me. :)

If you're trying to avoid making the foam sections from scratch, you might be able to find some seats for sale in the classified section. They may even be kind enough to remove the foam from the seat. Worth a shot anyway!

Not for seats out of a 76...Mustang foam only works with 71-72 buckets.

Hmmm... I didn't know the bucket seat changed, exept for the ldo seat.. My 74 had the same seat as my 71 except for the latch location... Or so it seemed....
