I heard the MCCI was going to Joplin, and im excited cause i live close to joplin. Now is this a exclusive event, does it cost money, besides the hotel, and what other info could be usefull. I havent heard anything about MCCI and cause its so close i would love to know more info about it. Thank you all for your help.

Anyone can go to either event. I'm sure someone from both clubs will explain, or just click on the MCCI logo in my signature, and it will lead you to all the info you'll need.
The Joplin event is the MCG (Maverick Comet Group) Gathering. You do not need to a member to attend. It's a great time with a lot of family oriented activites, most of them free of very cheap. We have activities planned for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, in addition to the show on Saturday. You can attend as much or as little as you wish. I have many friends there and hope to see you.
The Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI) will be holding their 17th Annual Roundup Nationals in Hannibal, Missouri July 21-24. No need to be a member of the club to attend, but I am sure you will want to join We will have several day cruises, lots of family activities, huge show on Saturday. I will be arriving in Joplin for the MCG Gathering on the 13th of July (Hopefully). Anyone want to start a lottery to guess how many tires it takes me to get there this year? Last year was 3 blowouts. Then I replaced all 5 tires on the trailer. Then 1 more on the truck on the way home.I'm staying there til the 20th then heading to Hannibal for the MCCI Roundup. Leaving back to Az. on the 25th. If anyone is close to the area I would suggest attending both shows. Lots of great cars and people. Once you attend these you will be hooked. It also took me from Sunday morning til Wednesday night to make it to Albuquerque from Az. Usually a less than 1 day trip.
Should just have to mention that your coming in for Maverick Comet Group Gathering to receive the discounted rate. Same for the MCCI Roundup in Hannibal.
I was trying to do it online to see how it compares to my AAA discount. Several other kinks doing it that way. I will just call them tomorrow or something.
