Nice car and it looks like your on the right track losing some badging. Going to be a real sharp car when you tidy it up a bit.(y)

:thumbs2:It’s a beautiful car and you can make any changes you want come spring, it should defiantly put your Maverick fever in remission.

Removed the stallion badging this weekend. Found out why they were there. The stallion decal on the hood was placed over the standard grabber striping. Once removed, I found out that it was covering up a rust spot as well as some significant imperfections in the striping in that area. The stallion decal on the underside of the hood was there because that rust spot is rusting through. Additionally, the decal on the top of the hood appears to have been trimmed with a razor blade...with a ton of scratches in the striping and paint.

I have decided to repaint this spring. Have already ordered grabber decals/striping and know a guy with a body shop that does great work. Obviously, I'll post pics once I'm dome.

I think you will be happier with a repaint.

I'll find out today. I'll be in Texas all next week, so I'm not in too much of a hurry.

Spoke with the painter and he said he might be able to get the car done by the end of the weekend (has 2-3 people lined up to help him).
