    I just want to say that you guys have got an impressive forum and I am looking forward to learning more about Mavericks and sharing info, experiences and knowledge with other members. The Maverick I just purchased is a 1972 2 door with a 250 six cylinder (I will be swapping it for a 302 soon) and has bucket seats with a column shift (will be converted to a floor shift). I'll post some pics soon.

    Wow! I'm in Sanford, Fl too! I wondered why I was seeing so many mavericks/comets lately! I didn't know they were located here. Who would have thought that the next Maverick revival was going to be happening here?!? :jumping2:

    If you haven't found a 302 ci to buy yet, there is a guy that works at a gas station here in Sanford that wants to get rid of his old 76? maverick with a 302 in it for $650 for the whole car. Runs and all. Not sure if it's a floor shifter though...
