    Hi,
I am new on here. I was wondering if anyone knew how to convert front drum brakes to disc brakes. Thanks for any information. I have a 1970 Maverick. Thanks again!

Do a search of this forum for your brake conversion answers. There is a lot of info here on the subject. Later Maverick or Granada/Monarch parts work well and you'll also get the benefit of converting over to 5 lugs at the same time.

Thank you! After I posted this ??, I found a interchangable parts page. I was told my car was actually a 69 and a half, and according to the interchangable parts page, nothing but Falcon works for them :( And thanks for the lug info, I found out how hard it was to buy rims for the 4 lug. I'm a girl, I'll learn, lol. Just bought it 2 weeks ago.

My Maverick is also a 69.5 (key under dashboard) but it is a much later built one that had all of the standard Maverick suspension on it already. No Falcon parts at all. :)

Girls will surprise you with these Mavericks.

Way back when we had Paulie, from Washington State with her red Maverick named Alice.

Look up Sugarkukie and see what she is doing with her Maverick suspension. She sent me photos and I'm copying her ideas.

In fact, hopefully sooner than later, I'll be getting my Maverick painted orange by Jean Doll and her husband Dale.

    You go girl :thumbs2:

Not really sure what I'm going to do to the car yet. Just got it 2 weeks ago. First, me and the boyfriend are going to get it more road worthy. Prob, won't do alot to it this year. Want to drive it around a bit first. The boyfriend has all kinds of ideas for paint schemes. He is a paint and body guy. He will be doing all the work on it. I'm thinking I just want it a solid blue. But he has other ideas, told him it is my car. He has his 1937 Chevy if he wants a canvas that bad, lol. I'm not into the racing car thing, just nostalgia. I'll put some pics up when I get some more. Thanks for all the interest!! :)
