Hey guys I am a 17 year old guy who purchased a 1970 Maverick from my co-worker. I finally got it started a week ago!!! it sounds like a jungle cat!!! but I am in a pinch. I can't seem to find 14" wheels with 4 lugs that don't look like they came off a honda... any suggestions?

Check out the salvage yards. I know that Toyota had the same 4 x 4.5 lug pattern, other Japanese brands did also.

I have a set of Toyota 14" aluminums that I was going to put on my '65 2 door wagon, but never got around to it.

Make sure you are spending on what you really want. Most people try to go to a 5 lug rear end and also switch to 5 lug disc brakes on the front. Then there's a whole bunch of wheels available. If you plan on doing something like this then save your money for what you will need in the end. No sense on buying wheels and then changing, and have to buy them again. Make a final plan and start working toward that. Good luck. :)

    BTW, welcome to the board.

    Emergency brake trouble!!!

Hey guys I am having trouble finding emergency/parking brake levers for my 1970 maverick. no they are not on the adjusting kit and I can't find them in stores. they attach to the e-brake cables and are located in the drums. If anyone can help me find them I will be very grateful!

Find some alloys off a Datsun 280ZX. Better though, to do the disc brake conversion and go 5-lug.
