Hi guys I do not get on here much when the weather is nice just thought I would check in and say Happy Easter. I have a heater hose that is leaking really bad down the side of the trany in the back,I have the car up on ramps to find the leak and it looks like it is going to be a job to replace. The hose looks new its either the end of it (lower hose) or it looks like ther might be a little short piece that was swelled up.Is it easier to take the glove box out to get a better look is my question.I am disabled and can not reach up from the bottom. 76 250 six with ac

If it is a A/C car, there is a short piece of hose from the heater core to the valve, if the valve is still in place. It could be bad if it looks like it's swelled up. You can access both hoses under the hood from the top, there are no rubber lines inside the car on a A/C heater box. Mine looked like it was leaking there when it had the original core, but it was a pinhole in the core, pushing water back out the opening through the firewall.
