Heard Crager Supertricks don't hold up very well on the street so I got a new pair of front runners. Kinda have an old Pro Stock look, kinda wish the tires were a little taller though, need some for the rear next. BTW, does anyone know where I can find wheels like these at, and what are they called?
The aluminum slots get my stamp of approval ... very nice! I believe the ones on the taxicab were Motor Wheels brand ... IIRC they were called "Flys". Probably not any good around potholes .... Just did a quick search ... http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=5606973
Thanks for the comments guys, I wanted to keep the Cragers for shows and maybe the track, I'm just wondering what to do for the back now, If I got wheel spacers could I have slicks sticking out a little without having to cut out the quarter panels? Kinda like these?
The rear quarters on both of those cars look tweaked out to me. I doubt that they are stock. Look at the rear profile on the bottom one especially.
how wide are your front wheels? Mine are ansion/4.5 and look just like yours, have the same size tires, my only complaint it the radial tire looks under inflated even at 35 lbs compared to the bias tires that were on it,
All i can say is that i hate you!!! i have been searching for a pair of "Skinny" slots for years now. All i find are 6 or 7 inch. Nice find!
