    Hello everyone. I just purchase a 1976 Comet. This is my first project of such so I am very new to this. Car has 35k miles on it. Had 1 owner. I purchased it from the original owner. So will be asking a lot of questions.

    Woohoo!

    Hey all! I was so stoked to see a forum for my newest ride: a 1971 Mercury Comet 4-Door. It has the 250 straight six. 39,000 original miles-was so "old lady" driven it came with a knitted seat cover! Only part of the interior worn is the seat. Minimal rust. I'll post pics soon! I paid $200 to a teenager who had never driven it. I plan to take it YellowKnife North West Territories (up near the arctic circle) from where I am in southern Canada this summer! My pervious Merc experience was with an '81 Bobcat. Cheers! -Travis
