Im looking for a silver paint code that was the painted silver strip on the grabber hood in 1971 or a paint code that is very close to the silver reflective side strip decals on the 1971 Grabber .

    Hiya Jimmy!!!

Two thoughts... is there a "trim code" on the door of one of your two cars.... was Bev's originally the same colour as well?

The link at the bottom should show a paint code template...

They call the silver graphic an "S" for 'light silver poly' for 71 cars (the names changed every year but the colours didn't apparently)... not sure if that means actual PAINT or the stick on Vinyl graphics.

Also Avery graphics (the vinyl commonly used in sign shops) has an equivalent Pantone colour matching code so you know exactly what the colour is made of. I've used them for colour matching before and some of them are a very good colour match.

Is this the exact same colour as your rear trunk decal and the other decals?

This link has one of the original PPG templates:
