I think you're right - it is copper No wait, it's red No wait, it's green No wait, it's yellow No wait, oh never mind - what ever color it is (at the moment) it looks great.
I found some more shots of the gauges. There from Classic Instruments. The vents are out of an F150 and the "adapters" are PVC plumbing parts from Lowes. I can spin the vents freely and remove them if I have to.
Great job on the dash. Those gauges are really nice. I can't wait to park next to you at car shows ... folks will think my car is so stock ( a myth I am trying to perpetuate ... the joke will be on them ... )
I'll have to find the other thread to see the description you gave. I'm just trying to figure out what exactly to ask for when I go to the paint store. I love the affect but want to ask if it can be done with a sonic blue as the base color..
gene, gm had a sonic blue flip flop paint on the corvete in the 90s. i cant rember specificaly what year but ive seen it used on a mustang.
Found the thread. You said "Planet Colors". I say I was close lol. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=51076 Bryant, let me know if you find it.
