sorry I dont have a newer comet like this thing says but I think a lot of the stuff is very similar. I have a 63 Comet with a leaky pinion seal on the diff. Is it possible to change that seal witout disturbing the pinion setting.??

A 63 Comet is still cool in my book. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the center of the Maverick/Comet universe!!!
You can change the seal w/o resetting pinion depth if you dont reef the nut back down but... The seal is probably bad due to loose pinion bearings. Seals dont just go,something makes em fail. They dry out or loose bearings take em out.
