75 TRANNY Mystery ??

    Howdy people , 75 Mav 6 cyl 250 Tranny , not sure .. Definatley original ..
    Yeasterday everything ran well , today started fine , goes into drive , park revervse , low 1 , low 2 .. Wont shift while driving ?? Stays in 1st , no shift ??
    Being new to this , anything easy
    to check before machanic takes me to the cleaners ??
    Tranny fluid looks clean , but overfull .. Never added any or changed fluid in the year I have drivn it as there where never any problems till today ..
    Also , I have no manual so please describe trouble shooting in laymans terms , hoping this my be an easy fix .. Thanks very kindly ..

    Easy things to check first are fluid and vacuum hose to the tranny modulator.:)

    Take it to Danny's on Dundas, or The Transmission man on Exeter rd. Both good shops.
