If it's a 302 stroked to a 347, the 302 headers should work. There is a post on here about Flowtec headers. Last week I think. I put the part number in that thread. They are made by hooker. I've had my set for 9 years & no problems. If it's not raining on Friday, when I come over. I'll drive the Comet & you can see how they fit.

Then shouldn't it be call a Pinto suspension since the Mustang II used the same suspension as the Pinto?? The Pinto came out in 1970...the Mustang II came out in '74.

Something to consider might be the BBK 351 foxbody swap headers. I used them in my LS-1 conversion with only a flange swap (the tubes fit perfectly). Your 347" is slightly narrower and has a shorter deck height so they may hang a bit lower (on mine, half of the collector is below the frame rail). The steering shaft seemed to be the biggest obstacle to overcome...

Were the motor stands pre-installed? Have you called R&C to see what they might recommend?

    Thanks for asking....
The project is moving forward again.. yeah!!
We altered the motor mounts just slightly to shift it to the passenger side about 1/4 of an inch. Now its not hitting and everything is going in smoothly. Whew!
Got the tranny in yesterday ( was having trouble finding the right torque converter- had one made up for me, so thats fixed now)
Battery box installed in the trunk, jumper block put under the car in case I need to jump it, and battery lines run to the front. Installed the coil under the dash,
    Fuel lines being made
Drive shaft has been measured for and is being made
Exhaust still needs to be fabricated
Back seat was recovered to match the corbeau seats I put in the front-- it looks awesome.
    new carpet kit in
Shifter moved to the floor instead of the column and wired up
    trans cooler went on today
making progress.. Im hoping to have to ready to drive by the end of the month..
    we"ll see how it goes.

    Keep you posted..

I have a couple of project threads going on here with pics of the R&C install. if you look under my posts for ones for Mity Mav.. you can see how it all looks. I'll post some new ones soon, but all the suspension pics are under the project category.
