The easiest and best way is to buy a set of Maverick bucket seat tracks. Then bolt the seats to them. :Handshake
I'm running 93 mustang power buckets in mine , I cut 4 inch steel pipe and welded it to the floor , took a half inch thick bit of steel and welded it over top of the pipe welded in the nuts for the track bolts and was good to go .
ok what parts do i have to get to install mustang seats in maverick. Buy maverick bucket seats and bolt the mustang seats to and them how how hard is it
I just did mine yesterday. I bought a set of Maverick LDO seat tracks. I had a nice set of 89 Mustang GT seats. On the driver seat...Removed the Gt tracks, bolted the Mav. tracks on the front of the Mustang seat. Had to drill a new hole for the rear as they don't line up. Then just ran a tap through it, bolted it down. On passenger seat it was a perfect bolt on. All the holes lined up correctly. Drilled the holes in the floor and bolted the seat down. Perfect. The whole thing took about an hour.
The mustang seats are 1'' wider than the mav seats so if you use the mounting holes in the mustang seats they will not line up with the holes in the floor of the mav. Jay
Agreed. But since my car was a bench seat car I had to drill the holes anyway. So i set the outside seat track in position, marked the inner stud location, and drilled. They fit perfect.
I got mine for around $100. Post in the wanted section, I had two people contact me that way. Took a couple weeks though, be patiant!
