Looking for my first car, haven't had much luck finding Mavericks, any help guys?

I love how they look its like a mini Torino

Any help would be appreciated, here to learn!

Thanks for the warm welcome, yup ironically my love for old muscle cars is quite ironic, as my favorites are all what my dad, aunt, and uncles had!

Dad had a Ford Gran Torino 1972
Uncle Had a 1970 Mach 1
Other Uncle Had a 1975 Chevy Nova
Grandma (now passed away) Had a 1968 Pontiac Catalina with a 400in
Aunt had a green Maverick Coupe

Time for me to bring back all those memories for them!

I am impatient, but I got a little help from some friends on what to look for when buying old muscle cars, have around 3k to spend, I can surely get a nice car for this range right?

I have seen many within that range. Gotta hang out here and learn what to look for so you don't get something that is a parts car. Be ready to want to travel too. You will see deals on the other side of the map now lol.

but i know I ain't finding one of those most likely for 3K unless I find some old man's barn find and he says " here kid, take my old car for a couple hundred bucks"

thanks for the warm welcome, I already spotted some Mavericks for sale on my local craigslist. Got to keep my grades up for graduation next week so maybe this weekend I can go hunting

 

As your searching, you could by something better than any *gag cough GTO cough*(lol)... You could look for a Comet GT, I have a 73 GT .

There is a grabber sitting somewhere I tihkn in La Mesa that Bryant (another guy on this board) knows about. It's listed for under 1K and I'm sure you can talk them down because it's been sitting for a long time. here are some pics.
