ok i have a 1973 maverick and i am installing a 1968 302 and i want headers that go around a the column shift but are relatively cheap like under 200 and i am wondering if anybody makes any and if they don't tell me and i will have to figure something out like changing to a cable column setup

I would bet that even with those if you try to keep the column shift you are going to have to make some alterations to either the headers or the shifting linkage if you try to leave it a column shift car.

I have always heard that Column shifters and headers don't go together in these cars.

Depends on your definition of "work" if you mean "power" then read this:

the 88400's will fit with the column shift.

Not anymore, with all the research people have done it is possible.

Even long tube column shift is possible if you swap over to a cable setup transmission

I dont think automatic floor shift cars came with bench seats.

But 3 speed floor shifts were an option, so i dont see it being a problem.
