    Hello all,
I have just finished up preping the engine bay for the 351W. Got the frame stands in place and a new set of motor mounts. Since the mounts are indentical, my question is; do they mount on the motor with the longer tabs bolted towards the front or the back?

    Thanks,

There are no markings other than the part number which is the same on each one. My understanding is that they are the same, just that they can go on the block either long tab forward on each side or short tab forward.

    Hello Guys,
Thanks for your input, especially Jacks'. As usual I was over thinking the obvious. The motor mounts can only go on the way they go on. Drivers side short tab to the front, passengers side long tab to the front (DUH!).

I did not make it to the all ford show last month. I completely forgot about it. My brother-in-law succumbed to cancer and his muzzle loader buddies had a verry cool send-off for him that weekend. They had a black powder cannon, stuffed his ashes in it and shot him off a mountain!

    Here's a couple of pic's

They should be identical side to side.......
They will only bolt to the block one way and still give you access to the bolts.

Check the distance from the engine mounting pads on the mount to the frame mounting hole on the mount. If they are the same for both mounts then use them.
