Hello proud Comet owners. I'm new at this so bear with me. If anyone has any info on my request i would surely appericiate it. I own a 65 Cyclone and on the data plate the dso # is 21 followed by 8157. the #'s are in a row (218157). It does have the prototype fiberglass hood on it, also a 140 mph speedo in it, not sure if someone put it in out of a mustang or not. Any help would sure be nice. Thanks Dennis
8157 denotes a special order package. The 21 is the designator for the area the car was ordered/destined for.If the car is a true cyclone and not a "clone" this would explain the 6 digit DSO and the options the car appears to have.
