Wish I could go to but work and lack of funds keeps me from the journey to maverick paradise.

So close but yet so far away

 

qicvick, if i knew you were feeling lonely i would have driven by and waved at you. left arizona city on thursday at 5:15 pm. got to ft. worth at 2 on friday. left at 7pm and just got back to arizona city 9pm tonight.

 

Don, take the car not the motorhome! That's a lot of driving and gas just to wave at someone

i took the pontiac montana. got over 30 mpg on the flat texas roads. dropped to about 25 on the hills. took 3 hours to get out of az. 2 1/2 hrs to get through new mexico and then about 10 1/2 hrs moe just to get to ft. worth. glad i wasn't going all the way through texas.

 

Don, I saw some of the pictures and now I feel worse!, It looks like ya'll were in the place to be, now I know why I never see any Mav/comets @ here, there all up there!

 

qicvick, i wasn't at the roundup. i had to make a quick trip to ft. worth to look at a trailer. left az city thusday after work and was back here on sat night. 1015 mles each way.

 

Man that must have been a nice trailer or awful cheap!
