whoa ( bows down to the king ) We are not worthy ,, you hear of stories but this one tops all stories ,,,because its true !!! Ron
i'll pick up the whole lot on saturday. 10 hour round trip... after sorting through everything i'll determine which parts i'll keep for myself and which will be for sale. as i have a comet, all mav emblems will have to go
Thomas, you know what Maverick emblems I am partial to and they're not the stock ones Lay everything out on the floor and take a picture of the booty
i spent 12 hours on the road yesterday. here's pics of what i got. some sheet metal parts i will keep for myself, but obviously all mav specific parts i might want to part with: both doors i will keep: same goes for both front valances, the fender and the rear bumper (with brackets): for this part i need the other side, too. found it NOS on ebay: but then, there are other things i might sell. front bumper with brackets: front and rear spings: some various parts, door frame trim, hood latch, tons of door handles: a complete set of window regulators with a pair of door seals: and here come the really interesting parts! what looked like one is actually TWO nos hood mouldings with two hood to cowl seals: a pair of taillights: a pair of front turn signals with an extra pair of lenses: a pair of rear extensions: a complete set of hubcaps: and the best saved for last. a set of emblems & gas cap: so now i need some help. what's it worth? what parts are worth shipping them actually back to the states? sure you can help me out!
Are those Hood/Cowl seals for the early 70-72 cars ?? Or the 73+ cars .... I would love to have an NOS one for my 71 ....
I like to have some of those parts as well but if I told you what they were worth I'd just be pulling a number out if the air just like anybody else. These parts are worth as much as someone is willing to pay. The only true way to figure that out is list them on eBay. Sell them for high bid plus shipping. You got some really nice parts! Good luck to you with whatever you decide to do with them.
Anything packaged in that brown Ford wrapping should be taken out and inspected. When I hit the motherload 2 yrs ago, some of the NOS wheel well trim I got, which was still in that wrapping, turned out to be unusable due to being bent or smashed. Hope its is as profitable for you as it was for me.
Let me know when you get them I'm restoring one now and it would be greAt to find some chrome piesce hood chrome. Back side window shoe horns. Rear glass Chrome
I'm looking for front and rear chrome bumbers and the chrome shoe horn pieces for the rear side windows. Are you selling parts and if so can you call me Monday or Tuesday at 919-218-9729. Thank you Glwray:
