The body guy told me it would take about 3 hrs to fix my rear valance. So I was wondering what my options are as far as after market? I saw one at a showcars-bodyparts, but lets just say the reviews are less then glowing. I checked VFN and nothing. Any Ideas where to get something like that? I am even open to maybe something modded/spoiler type, if that is an option. Thanks.
JOEXRetc. whatever his name was was making one out of some composite material (Sorry Joe, don't remember the numbers after your name). I was waiting for those to go into production. Not sure where he is with those.
Thanks, well hes right down the road here (ok 25 min), so i hope he did start. BTW, Ive noticed that a 1hr drive to get parts is now considered "short". I would have never driven an hr for anything before.
Ive heard of people using 69 mustang valances. But could never get a confirmed case, i was going to buy one but then i found a maverick one.
Congratulations for asking the person who is definitely the worst on the planet with names. All I know is Joe..
No to be negative, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a new reproduction valance, just ask around here, someones sure to have a good used one.
What is is hourly rate? I wouldn't sell a nice rear valance for less than $200. Could probably fix yours cheaper by time you add shipping.
Yep, that's him. I know it is hard to get repopped parts, but if he or someone else sees a market for it, you never know. I would have never thought there was a market for carbon-fiber grabber hoods.
I dont know what good it will do you, but you can have my old one. its dented but probably could be fixed.
