I recently put a stereo in my car n then my dash lights won't turn on changed every single fuse but they still dnt turn on can anyone help.. Or should I jus go with the process of elimination.? Than in advance
It was from where the other radio was connected a red cable.. Everything works except for the gauge clusters.. And I think the thing that marks the gear the trannys in..

So you tapped into the one that lights up the gear display? If so that should only be on when your lights are on. Radios need switched power. And constant 12V if it has a memory function.
The radio turns on but the clusters dnt.. But the radio loses memory every once in a while.. The other stock radio was connected to the same spot and the clusters would work.. What can it be ):
Where did you splice in for the memory wire? The stock one didnt have that feature. My guess is that you might have tapped into the wire that supplies power for the backlights on the cluster.
Dumb question I know, but have you rotated the light switch knob? All the way one way it cuts off the cluster lights, all the way the other way it turns on the dome light. Could just be the rheostat that dims the lights has a little corrosion on it. Turn the knob back and forth a few times, that should clean it enough to make it work....
@Maverick75:it's connected to the same red cable.. @Ford84stepside:Yea I turned the knob back n forth n the dome light works.. But I'll try again it.. The red hi beam indicator, turn signals everything Works but the cluster lights..
