My name is Victor, I'm from Brazil but i'm living in OK, USA for two months now. I'm 20 years old and I used to own a '77 Maverick SL, which I restored with the help of my father. My car was a 2.3L OHC, and had a lot of improvements, such as better brakes, parking brake between the seats and so on. I'm an active member of the "Manual do Maverick" forum (http://www.manualdomaverick.com.br). These are some pictures of my car (http://www.manualdomaverick.com.br/forum/gallery/menu.php?gallery=members&album_id=18) Now as I'm a student and don't have a nickel to spend I drive a '95 honda Civic, but every time I see a Maverick on the streets my heart pumps faster, I have no doubt that my next "serious" car will be another Maverick.
Welcome. I think youll fit quite nicely here. Im 21 and I like Hondas too haha. What engine does the EG have? D15B7 , D16Z6?
from Northeast Pennsylvania Love the Brazilian Mavericks - a lot of differences from the ones that were sold here in North America
Thank you guys, yes, that's true, brazilian mavericks were somewhat different, I like the Brazilian interior and tail lights better, for instance. On the other hand we never had the comet, which is for me the most beautiful maverick, especially the GT model. Maverick75, mine's a D15B7, It's a nice car, but it's FWD and that's something I really don't like.
I don't know if anyone else tried but I did try and I could not see the pictures of your car. I clicked the link and it took me to a page linked to that forum but no pictures.
If you ever need any help on it check out D-series.org Its one of the best forums out there. Theres also alot of build threads. FWD can be fun when your making power.
