yeah,it could had been alot worse,im glad it wasn't but for something to not have 1k miles on it im not real pleased with the quality/durability of this clutch disc
it's a zoom 3000 series clutch, luckily it didnt scar up my billet flywheel when it started acting up i didnt use the clutch to up or down shift
I'd def.be contacting zoom!That SHOULD NOT have happened,especially in less that 1k miles.Good deal on the flywheel.
When I replaced the clutch in my Falcon I notice that Zoom is made in China. Ram and Centerforce is made in USA. Centerforce is a diaphragm clutch and Ram is a 3 finger with 8 springs in the hub instead of 5
i have a Ford Racing King Cobra in my '71 and have NEVER had one hint of an issue with it, and has great pedal feel for the street
Just put a centerforce dual friction behind my cleveland picked up a 10th on the 60 foot time it's a diaphragm style love it light pedal pressure but hold like glue........
