i just got the seats in all refinshed along with the deck lid and new carpet. it still needs a dash and a headliner.. but that will have to wait for now. attached are photos i want to thank Corbin Johnson for the lead on SMS.. damn they had the orginal stuff! awsome lead dude! not cheap but the stuff was right on! check it out! but man its ugly! but its orginal! i just don't understand why anyone in the 70's would need to smoke pot to get high.. when all the cars interiors looked like this. also Craig Selvey thanks for the seat belts.. i figured out how to get the belt out of the plastic casing and into mine. p.s. save that gas neck! i need it just no time to go to the bank for MO. i also power coated the OE rims and put new beauty rings on them along some hard elbow grease polished out the dog dishes. sorry guys.. i left the white walls! thats the way the car came. the car needs to be lowered to have those 16s on them and besided car will be too slow to look fast.. lol.. but will change it later... can't drive something stock for too long.. lol and no craig its not running yet.. so there! still waiting on a gas tank and straps
You had to be there. The pre-disco '70s can't be explained; you had to live 'em - and at least had to be a teenager to fully know 'em. I look back at pictures of my hair down to my shoulders and ask "what was I thinking?" and "what were my parents thinking?" You seat covers don't bring pot and Hendrix to mind (sorry Big Al); it brings Grandma's car to mind and how old folks put towels on their seats and dash pads back then.
Well, at least not to senile old mind. You know what they say..."If you can remember the 60s...then you weren't there."
Who you calling senile? Must've been all that Zepplin, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Oak Arkansas, Mountain, Deep Purple I had in my 8-track. I remember the '60s...t'was a kid. I pretty much remember from 1963 on... Maverick Man has an interior he had to learn about - we knew about 'em.
I'm really starting to like you. Mountain has been touring.:bananaman :bananaman :bananaman http://www.vh1.com/artists/tours/tour_template.jhtml?artistID=12875
Terry ...Just a quick note to remind you of how backwards I am. In the `70`s I had short hair......NOW I have long hair!
