Even though the rods are new, are you going to have the big end checked? I bought some RPM's, and didn't, two were a tiny bit on the small side, ate some bearings!

I was wondering, how does the price for getting your block done, compared to what Summit is selling those stroker blocks for? I've got 5 302's in my shop, but now I'm thinking it almost not worth it it send them out and have them done, Summit sells that block for less than $700.....

dave now that you mention it i got 635 dollars in the block dam i should have got the 347 block from summit.but i was told it was only going to be $485 then when i went to pick it up the price shot up to 635 they forgot to add the price of the parts(cam bearings, freeze plugs and arp main bolts)but on the other hand i know what i had for a block.with the summit blocks you dont.and at this point all i would need to do is clearance the rods from the piston skirts.

just remember it has to be shipped also so it looks like the prices are pretty close
